Want to know how to use your digital camera? The staff at Croydon Camera House want you to get the best out of your camera so they’re offering a range of classes to help you along. The classes are conducted in the store at 125 Main Street, Croydon on Tuesday evenings.


Choose from Basic and SLR classes:

Basic will give you an understanding of how your camera works, we teach you about scene modes, flash settings, and help you understand the digital jargon such as resolution and megapixels, we will also give you some tips and techniques on composing and editing your photos. This course also includes information on storing and archiving your photos and gives a detailed explanation on transferring your photos.

The cost of the 2 hour course is $110, however, a $55 discount applies if the camera is/was purchased from Croydon Camera House.


D-SLR will cover the range of different lenses and flashes that compliment your camera. It also provides you with a clear understanding of the manual settings on your camera including aperture and shutter priority settings, knowledge of the focusing and metering systems, and covers useful composition and software tips to give your photos a creative edge.

The D-SLR class is for anyone who has a Digital SLR.


The cost of the two session 3 hour course is $150, however, a $75 discount applies if the camera is/was purchased from Croydon Camera House.
