Motorcycle Cornering Tips
Motorcycle cornering can be tricky for many new riders. It is a primary cause for single-vehicle motorcycle crashes.
What usually occurs is a motorcyclist runs wide in a curve causing them to either enter the opposite lane or simply run off the road.
While all curves and corners are different; as a basic rule of thumb you should start at the outside of a curve to increase your line of sight and the effective radius of the turn. As you turn, move toward the inside of the curve, and as you pass the centre, move to the outside to exit.
