About Us
The Yarra Valley Chapter was formed in April 2009 and promotes responsible motorcycling activities for HOG members in the local area and encouraging participation in other HOG events, within Victoria, Nationally and Internationally.
If you currently own or have just bought a new
Harley Davidson motorcycle and enjoy the safety and camaraderie of riding in groups of other likeminded H.D. owners, then consider riding with the
Yarra Valley Chapter.
The
Yarra Valley Chapter are international members of the
Harley Owners Group (HOG). HOG members are a group of community people who enjoy being part of an international family of Harley Davidson riders with arguably the best riding region in Australia with sweeping valleys and glorious mountain trails. As a H.D. rider, you will experience all the area has to offer in a group of friendly, dedicated riders bound by the passion of their bikes and the friendships that are generated.
Monthly rides are held on the second Sunday of every month right throughout the year with many additional rides organised week in, week out. From small groups of 2 or more to epic rides with over 100 Harleys, every journey will be memorable from the time you ride out of your front driveway to the hour that you finally return home. We also enjoy catching up for a coffee and chat at Peter Stevens Harley Heaven Ringwood on the first and third Saturday morning of each month. Impromptu rides are always on the cards as is the free spirit of all Harley Davidson riders.
As you will soon discover, patches and pins are an obsession with HOG members and one that you will certainly follow with the multitude of Poker Runs, Memorial rides and State and National rallies offering event memorabilia to wear with pride on your leathers.
In addition to our many riding activities, we get together for regular social events and evenings with the added bonus of large group discounts making restaurant outings and other entertainment fun and economical. We also get looked after at Harley Heaven Ringwood for all our Harley needs.
As local, International HOG riders, for the safety and enjoyment of all we abide by the HOG Charter Rules and Guidelines as set out by HOG. Please feel free to approach any Yarra Valley Chapter HOG member for any additional information you may require. If you’re unsure about riding in large groups, we are all there to make it a most pleasurable experience in owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
